This Privacy Policy explains how cgtcalculator.net (“we”, “us”, the “site”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our free Australian tax calculators. The figures you enter stay in your browser

Our CGT Change Calculator and Negative Gearing Calculator run entirely in your web browser. The amounts you enter — purchase and sale prices, income, rent, interest, dates and so on — are processed on your own device to produce your estimate. We do not send those figures to our servers, store them, or associate them with you. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (for example, which calculator is more popular and which pages are viewed). Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. This helps us improve the site. Children
